One of the most sultry divas in the history of sports-entertainment, Trish Stratus has already
made quite a name for herself in WWE. Her beauty is second to none, and her brains and brawn make her the total package.
Trish made her first appearance in WWE just prior to WrestleMania 2000. She teamed up Test and
Albert, calling them "T&A." The duo was victorious at WrestleMania, which was Trish's Pay-Per-View debut. Later that summer,
she would guide Val Venis to the Intercontinental Championship before going off on her own, and getting involved with WWE
co-owner Vince McMahon. The two spent a lot of time together that winter, earning the ire of Vince's daughter, Stephanie.
Stephanie and Trish engaged in a memorable match at No Way Out 2001, with Stephanie pulling out the win. A month later, at
WrestleMania, Trish would turn her back on Vince and Stephanie, tired of being used.
After laying low for a while,
Trish made her next big bang at the 2001 Survivor Series, capturing the Women's Championship for the first time. It seems
that Trish is on top of her game -- and she's determined not to let anyone knock her down! |

Fitness Model Background |
It was the female form personified in comics that first enticed Trish to transform
her body. She came across a picture of Marla Duncan and seeing an actual person possessing the "ideal comic body" Trish thought,
"I can do that!" and that’s how it all started. She looked into becoming involved in fitness. She first began by returning
to her gymnastics training. It was a natural progression for her as she had been involved in gymnastics when she was younger
and was very athletic throughout her high school and university years. She played everything from field hockey on her varsity
team to soccer. Trish began training on her own, which was going well until she met Scott Able who helped her progress to
the next level.
Trish Stratus got her first big break while working at World Gym when she was asked by Scott Able
- one of Canada’s premier personal trainers - to do a modeling job for a supplement line. Scott was able to help her
focus in on her training and diet, and that’s when she started to really see results. " Since I study Kinesiology, I
know the theory but to actually practice it was quite amazing and that’s where Scott’s expertise came into play.
"
Trish’s journey into the fitness world began when she was introduced to Bob Kennedy of MuscleMag
International and was asked to do a test photo shoot. The photo shoot that was supposed to only be 30 minutes turned into
three hours - his confidence and her potential was uncovered. Trish trained religiously and within 6 months the did her first
location shoot with MuscleMag.
Since her introduction with Bob Kennedy she has had a feature article, has appeared in MuscleMag’s
lingerie issue and is currently on the cover of the September Issue of MuscleMag. Trish also appeared in a Strong & Shapely
feature in Women’s Physique World. "It’s been great. It’s all happened so fast - one minute I’m one
step away from post graduate school and the next thing you know I’m on the cover of an International Magazine!!! I’ve
spent the last few months traveling everywhere from Europe to all over the US & Canada doing store signings and various
fitness conventions - and its overwhelming that all this has happened in such a short time."
She has also recently become involved in the International Natural Bodybuilding Association (INBA)
and is a member of the Natural Team Canada. "This is a great honor for me, I believe the natural bodybuilding and fitness
movement must gain more exposure and so that people are more aware that the sport is a healthy sport and is attainable for
everyone."

Training |
Trish trains six days a week with the seventh
day off. She normally performs 3-4 exercises per body part with anywhere from 3-4 sets each. She believes in lifting as heavy
as she could but still maintains high repetitions within the 20-30 range. She also spends approximately 45 minutes a day doing
some type of cardio.
Day 1: Legs Day 2: Chest / Biceps Day 3: Cardio & Abs Day 4: Back Day 5: Shoulders / Triceps Day 6: Cardio &
Abs Day 7: REST
Trish also maintains a journal to keep track of her training and diet. It keeps her on track
and she faithfully logs her training and diet routine everyday. |
Diet |
Trish believes in eating whole foods rather than relying too heavily on supplementation,
except for when she is traveling. She eats every 2-3 hours and likes to give herself a little "treat" with each meal. Would
you like to know what she considers to be a treat? Rice Cakes. That’s right! Rice Cakes. "They come in all different
flavors," she admits "and its like a reward for eating properly," she jokes. Her eating regime doesn’t really change
from day to day and looks something like this:
Meal 1: oatmeal or melon and 6-8 egg whites Meal
2: tuna and 3-4 rice cakes Meal 3: chicken and potato and/or rice cakes Meal 4: chicken and vegetables and rice cakes Meal
5: chicken and vegetables and rice cakes Meal 6: 6-8 egg whites and rice cakes
Trish also uses Vitamin C, Multi-Vitamins and occasionally St. John’s Wart. |
